The best weekends and holidays are at Hauli Huvila
Although Hauli Huvila can be enjoyed throughout the entire summer, the times that really define the magic and uniqueness are the event and holiday weekends. Often on these four long weekends each summer anywhere from 100 to 400 Finns, family and friends of Finns gather to celebrate, relax, socialize, and have fun at Hauli Huvila.
Finnish Events and Holiday Weekends
Please note that our event and holiday weekends are very popular. Our campground tent spaces are first come first serve basis, they do fill up. Then for our camper and RV parking spaces, Hauli Huvila members get first priority, then it is first come first serve. Our cabins are available for members only and won via lottery. Everything usually fills up so plan on getting here early to secure your spot and get ready to relax and have fun!

May 24-27, 2024
Honor and celebrate Memorial Day while kicking off the summer season by coming to Hauli Huvila on our opening weekend.
Estonian Friendship & Golf Weekend
August 2-4, 2024
Get ready to swing your clubs at our very own annual Hauli Huvila golf tournament and celebrate with Finnish-Estonian friends camping at Hauli Huvila and the Kings River.

Celebrate your Finnish-American independence the best way possible, out at camp Hauli Huvila along the Kings River.
Labor Day Weekend
August 30-September 2, 2024
Honor and celebrate Labor Day while wrapping up the summer season with a classic Finnish bang at Hauli Huvila.
Volunteer "Talkoot" Weekends
Talkoot is the Finnish expression of a gathering of friends and neighbors to accomplish a task. That task is the volunteer work of keeping Hauli Huvila looking beautiful! We gather together to do maintenance work, repairs, improvements, and preparations to open and close Hauli Huvila at the beginning and end of the summer season.
